AusCERT's strong history

The Australian Computer Emergency Response Team (AusCERT) is the premier Computer Emergency Response Team for Australia with a proud 22 year history of contributing to information security for its Members, the higher education sector and the Australian public.

AusCERT was established within Information Technology Services at The University of Queensland in 1993 and continues to successfully operate as an independent, not-for-profit information security entity.

As of July 2014, Thomas King, General Manager of AusCERT, now leads the team in the ongoing provision of services to its Members and to develop and implement new services and capabilities in line with Members’ evolving needs.

AusCERT is set to continue its work in information security in Australia and looks forward to working with its Members and the wider community in this exciting period, to build upon and grow services as an integral part of the information security landscape.

Returning bigger and better than ever, AusCERT2015 will be the 14th conference hosted by AusCERT.
